Advanced bra making, a 4 hour class, consists of drafting/sample sewing to change your basic bra pattern or add to your basic bra pattern.

Pre-requisite Bra Making 101

Styles taught in this class: Specialty straps-crisscross, halter, padded; maternity or nursing bra, different seaming including demi styling, embroidery, laces, dying your bra, adding "power bar" seaming (helps the girls face front and stay out of your armpits), doubling the fabric for better support with lighter weight fashion fabrics, hidden seam allowance seaming, bra making for very sensitive skin, front closure, sexy vs. 'utility/comfort' bra shaping, changing your pattern to a swimsuit.*

This class is based on several copies of your pattern created in bra Making 101. We will use them to draft new styles that will still be a great fit. We do not sew a bra in this class so there is no need for a kit of fabric. Please bring fabric scraps to use in sewing samples for you to keep as a reference.
